Getting to know each other
We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Marengo United Methodist Church a great one!
SERVICE TIMES
During this unprecedented time as we navigate through the coronavirus pandemic, we will participate in worship with a live service in the sanctuary at 9:30 a.m. and for those who feel more comfortable worshiping online, we will be streaming that service through Facebook online as well (at 9:30a.m.).
Once we get past the pandemic, we will return to two services during the school year. September through May, we offer our Heritage Service at 8:30a.m. (a traditional service with organ, bells, and hymns from the hymnal), and our New Beginnings Service at 10:00 a.m. (a contemporary style worship with a worship band and a variety of instruments and media). During the summer months (End of May through early September) we offer one service at 9:30 a.m. This service type changes from week to week between traditional and contemporary styles.

What's the culture like at MARENGO UNITED METHODIST Church?
Sunday's at Marengo United Methodist Church are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.
What about my kids?
Our ministry for children begins in the nursery (birth through 2 years of age), with Sunday School for children age three through 4th grade. Sunday School students begin the morning with their families in the sanctuary for the first 15 minutes, and are then dismissed for their Sunday School time in their classrooms.
